Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 24, 2026
Medyka is a free medication reminder app built by a solo developer in Poland. Your privacy is not just a feature — it is the foundation the app is built on. This policy explains, in plain language, what data we collect (spoiler: almost none) and how we handle it.
1. Data We Do Not Collect
Medyka does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:
- Your medications, dosages, or schedules
- Health or medical information of any kind
- Location data
- Contacts or phone data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Usage analytics or behavioural data
All medication data you enter into the app is stored exclusively on your device. There is no cloud sync, no remote backup, and no server-side processing of your health information.
2. Data We Do Collect
If you voluntarily sign up for our waitlist or newsletter via the website, we collect your email address. That is the only piece of personal data we store. It is kept in a secure Supabase database and used solely to send you product updates.
You can request deletion of your email at any time by contacting us.
3. Cookies & Tracking
The Medyka website does not use analytics services, advertising trackers, or third-party cookies. We may use strictly necessary cookies required for the website to function (e.g., security tokens), but nothing that tracks you across the web.
4. Third-Party Services
The app itself makes no network requests and shares no data with third parties. The website uses:
- Supabase — to store waitlist email addresses
- Vercel — for website hosting
Both services have their own privacy policies. No health data is ever sent to these or any other services.
5. Children’s Privacy
Medyka is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
6. Your Rights
Because we store almost no data, there is very little to manage. If you have signed up for our waitlist, you have the right to:
- Request a copy of the data we hold about you (your email)
- Request deletion of that data
- Withdraw your consent at any time
7. Changes to This Policy
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top and, where possible, notify you via the website or email.
